Elise is finally enjoying a little time in the Bumbo seat!

Relaxed...

This is how Elise spent her Wednesday afternoon...she is SO comfy.

Oh and she completely scratched her left eye sometime last night. No matter how hard I try to get her fingernails smooth there is always a sharp one and she's gotten herself pretty good a few times.

Three Months Old!

Elise is three months old today! And -- this is big -- she picked her three month birthday to sleep for almost NINE hours in a row! She slept from 9:30 - 6, woke up to eat, and then slept again until 9. I honestly wasn't sure what to do with myself.

Then we went to Panera where she was having SO much fun.

We also went shopping in Holland earlier this week with Grandma and Auntie Lauren! Elise slept pretty much the whole time - but wouldn't sleep in her stroller. So we pushed the stroller around for three hours and carried the baby. I think I'm getting buff - this girl is getting heavy!

Baptism Sunday

Elise was baptized last Sunday. She did pretty well up in front of church - and anything would be great compared to the first kid who screamed the whole time. She only cried a little, and she was the cutest one up there. (Well, we are a little biased.)

Busy Girl!

Elise met her Auntie Gracie this weekend. She was thrilled - Auntie Gracie is very comfy.

She loved Uncle John too - but I didn't get a good picture of them snuggling. She was sort of sad in this picture.

Good Morning!

Elise is SO alert and happy in the mornings. I love it.

She still hates tummy time. She either screams bloody murder or just lays her head down and chews on her hand. Usually she does both until I pick her up. She's like "Mom - this is so lame. I am so over tummy time."

Rufflebutts

Elise is wearing the CUTEST little rufflebutt onesie from her crafty Auntie Lauren. Thank you Auntie Lauren for the adorable little outfit! It's still a little big...but the ruffles are just too cute!

Grandpa and Grandma G. came over to watch the Michigan/MSU game. Elise was not super interested and cashed out on Grandpa. I'm pretty sure the game was just an excuse to see a cute baby...

Call Me Crazy

Call me crazy, but if you look past the patchy baldness and the mullet.....
I think this child might have red hair.

It's a ginger!

Check out her little alfalfa! She has like 20 hairs an inch long on the top of her head. Adorable.

In other news: Elise slept for SIX hours in a row last night! I woke up after 4 1/2 and ran into check to see if she was still breathing. And then I couldn't fall back asleep because I was sure she was going to wake up any minute and my boobs were about to explode. So Elise slept for six hours, but Mommy still only got 4 1/2. Something is wrong here...but GO ELISE! I really hope this wasn't a fluke and she can do it again. I'll keep you posted.

A Walk Outside

Here is proof it is impossible to get an adorable shot of a two month old in a Baby Bjorn. I promise she smiled a little for part of the walk.
And I am purposefully cropped out of these - I'm having an ugly day. As in, no make-up, ponytail, and I'm pretty sure I hadn't showered yet. No pictures for Rach.
