Happy Birthday Elise!

Elise is FIVE! I can't believe it.
This post is basically a ton of pictures of our birthday weekend at the lake.
We pretty much have moved in Friday and gone home Sunday every weekend this summer.  Living the good life.

Love these girls.

Almost dark out.  There were a million fireflies.

My mom was worried she wouldn't have enough presents.

Auntie Aubrey is so pretty.
And Elise has got a really good fake smile.

Gourmet cupcakes.  SO SO good.
Sidenote:  my diet is not going so great.

The Gootes got them each a nerf gun.  YAY.

I gotta throw in a bunch of this cute baby too.
Because holy cuteness.

The next door neighbors set up their giant slip and slide.
We pretty much didn't see Elise for an hour.

Love these girls.
Vivian, Elise, Ava.
Elise is actually older than Vivian however much less tall....

Timehop you kill me.

Awww Baby Elise!!!

charlotte {10 months}

Charlotte is 10 months old!
Well, actually almost 11 months old.
I really did take these pictures awhile ago.
I figure I should get these up before she's 11 months old.

And I really couldn't pick just one picture so you get all of them.

the 4th at the lake

It's pretty nice there.  Hot air balloons are so cool.

She'll sit and swing for an hour.

We brought glow sticks and lanterns on the boat before fireworks.

We walked to Maria's for the pancake breakfast.  Charlotte fell asleep on the way there but perked up when we started eating pancakes.

They had all the firetrucks out to play in.

The little neighbor girls are so fun to play with.

Tan lines in wrist rolls.

Oh hey blue eyes.

Grandpa and Grandma Goote came out for fireworks night.

This one couldn't take it anymore.

We decorated the golf cart for the Green Lake Parade.

Best one I got.  I probably had 20.

The baby kept trying to eat rocks.

So delicious.  Also Charlotte says "num num" now.  It's the best.

My mom put Elise to work trimming her moss.  With scissors.
Only sorta kidding.  Elise thought it would be fun for a second.  My mom actually thought it was fun and did it for a couple hours.

She crawled all around in the water.
Also that's my mom trimming her moss.
It really is a thing of beauty.  My mom and the moss.

We took cinnamon rolls and coffee on a cruise around the lake this morning and then Elise and Nick caught a few fish in their jammies.

She was so freaking tired.  She was out cold like two seconds after I pulled out of the driveway.
God bless America.
