Weekend in MO

We spent last weekend in Joplin, MO visiting my Auntie Gracie and Stacy and her cute girls. These girls are even more precious in person! We had lots of fun playing with the girls, making crafts, eating lots of brownies, and hitting up a casino (minus babies). I actually lost about $10 at the casino, but some of us -- everyone except me and Stacy -- got pretty lucky at the penny slots! We are cheap. Not to worry y'all - we were in a non-smoking part of the casino. :-)

We miss you girlies already! I wish we lived MUCH closer!

And I have to say THANK YOU to Stacy who sent me home with a giant bag of the cutest baby clothes (x2!) ever. Our little girl's closet is jam packed! And for taking me on a "you need this" tour of Babies R Us. Always good to know what kind of nippy cream is the best...

Fathers Day 2010

Happy Father's Day to the best dad ever! Seriously...look how much I'm having at the beach! I'm sure it's loads of fun to watch a two year old by the water. Thanks Dad. My time is coming...

And here we are: 31 weeks pregnant. When Nick comes home from work now I am frequently greeted with a "Whoa. Hey pregnant lady!"

And a HUGE thank you to my wonderful cousin Emily, who I'm pretty sure sent me everything Caroline has worn the first year of her life. We love it all. It's so fun to see her drawers full of cute things for her to wear!

Side note: we saw the movie "Babies" this weekend. All I can say is that I am really glad I don't live in Namibia or Mongolia. And that movie has a lot of "tribal" nudity that made us all a little uncomfortable. And babies are really dirty all the time in Africa. Wow. But there were some super cute and funny moments so it was still pretty good. You can watch the trailer here.

4 years?!

I can't believe it's been FOUR years today since I married this guy! He's the best and I love him to pieces.

Wedding Weekend

This weekend we headed to London, Ontario for Matt and Michelle's Wedding. It was a gorgeous weekend and a beautiful wedding! We had so much fun.

This never happens - ALL of us in a picture! The current Kloostra family...new addition due in 10 more weeks!

Saturday morning we headed to Niagara Falls. Nick and Carl had never been there! We went behind the falls and took the Maid of the Mist boat ride to the bottom. I have no pictures of that because we were all drenched...and after no one felt cute enough for a picture.

And here's an updated belly shot - I cannot believe we have only 10 more weeks (or less!) until we get to meet our little girl! Where has the time gone? Oh yes...I ate it.

Baby Shower

We had our first baby shower this weekend thanks to Nick's wonderful Aunts Pat and Carla at the Goote's house! It was so fun - we were definitely showered with lots of goodies for our little girlie! Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures with my camera, so these are all from Nick's mom Judy.

is it that obvious?

So for the first time ever, I had two separate random strangers ask when I was due today. Apparently I'm looking a lot more pregnant...which is good I think since there is a baby the size of this SQUASH in there. Holy Moly.


Also, how cute is this baby boy? My good friend Jayne and her husband Brad welcomed little Cohen last weekend! Congrats you guys...he is precious!
