It's true...Baby Goote is Due August 2010!
I think a blog is now necessary to document the hilarity that will no doubt be coming.
Pictures from our ultrasound this afternoon:

Everyone is convinced this baby is a boy - so I think "he" looks pretty cute already. He was having fun in there this afternoon moving all around - it was super cool to see. We know we have 2 arms, 2 legs, and fingers! So far so good!
So today I was on the phone with my mom, walking into the mall. I was really
excited because I just legitimately scored an "
expectant mothers" awesome parking spot. A Crabby Old Lady walking in behind me thought I was "illegally" parking in the pregnant spot:
"When are you due??" (while staring me up and down). I was actually holding my ultrasound pictures in my hand while frantically yelling "
I really am pregnant! I really am pregnant!". She then glared at me and walked way faster in front of me while I (still on the phone) could hardly believe what just happened. Later I thought of some really good things to say instead...but they probably would not have been as nice. What was she going to do...make me pee on a stick?
Puh-lease.
