Happy Birthday Charlotte and Brian!!

Just a few pictures from our birthday party day at the Lake. 

One year old birthday parties are a bit anticlimactic.  

No one really cared about the cupcakes. 

The babies really didn't care too much about their presents.  

They pretty much just wanted to take naps. 

BUT it made for some super cute pictures.  

I had a super cute birthday tutu that Elise wore for her first birthday. 

It was far too small for Charlotte (surprise? NO) so we got her a new one.

charlotte {12 months}

She's one!  I can't believe it.  

She's almost walking.  

Her first words were "num num" and "mama".  In that order. 

She loves snacks.  And lunch.  And dinner.  

Just the sweetest little soul.  And also a bit of a stinker.  
Loves her sister who can make her laugh so hard.  

Oh Charlotte, you're the cutest birthday girl around!

Elise starts Pre-K

Now that school has started and summer is technically over, I'm going to try and start posting regularly again.  And instead of trying to catch up with everything that's happened over the summer I'm just starting with today - the first day of school for Elise.  She is in pre-K this year and is so excited.

School starts at 7:50 this year - and this one is hard to wake up. 

It might get difficult.  Also it takes her 20 minutes to eat a bowl of cereal.

Didn't she look so cute?  

She looks so much older already!

She had such a fun first day.

We LOVE when our cousins come to visit!

Auntie Gracie, Stacy, and her girls Maddie, Elle, and Lola came to visit last week.  Grandpa took the day off to play.  And drive the boat.  Because I do not do that.  I would for sure crash it into the dock.  And my mom confuses RPMs with MPHs...well that happened once and it probably shouldn't happen again.  

Living the good life. 

This child scarfed lasagna.  Like she ate more than Elise. 

Actually that's not that hard to do.  Except for the night when Elise ate THREE hot dogs.  

It does not get better than this. 

charlotte {11 months}

Awww this little honey is 11 months old. 
Almost 1.  I'm gonna go cry now.  

Seriously the sweetest.  
Still sporting some pretty serious thigh rolls.  

Also the fangs are getting bigger.  
Our two front teeth are coming though.  

She loves giving hugs and snuggles. 

She can say mama, loves scarfing all the food, and can walk behind her walking toys.  She bolts towards the stairs whenever she sees the gate is down. 

She's on to me with the whole sticker thing.
