Elise just finished a 4 day swimming class. 

It started out like this.  Most of them crying and clinging.

It ended much better. 

No crying.  Jumping and diving.  This girl can swim across the pool!

We are SO proud of her.

We went out for Elise's three-year-old pictures a couple weeks ago.  

I can't believe how big she is.  I know I keep saying that. 

They turned out so cute.  My girl is adorable.

The winner family picture.  One of the few where my spanx weren't showing, my arms don't look like turkey legs and everyone's looking at the camera.

She was giving the photographer instructions by the end. 

"I think I will sit right here."

Now I need to figure out how to update my blog header again.  :-)

big girl bed

Miss Elise is in a big girl bed now.  

We switched her the weekend of her birthday. 

As we expected, we haven't had any issues.  

She just goes right to sleep and stays there. 

I can't belive my baby is this big!

Sweet Elise was the center of attention on Saturday. 

We celebrated her THIRD birthday at the lake.  

She's the best little thing. 
She talks all day long. 
She sleeps in a big girl bed now (post coming soon).
She's been extra snuggly lately.  It's so funny. 
She's very forthcoming with the "I love you's".  Melt my heart. 
She loves playing with babies and riding her bike. 

When we woke up we surprised her with her very own pink scooter.  
She was pretty pumped. 

Family Birthday Picture

We had the most perfect day.  
We played and played. 
Lots of boat rides.  Lots of sand toys.  Lots of swimming.

Lots of family.  Lots of presents for Miss Elise.

She had a pretty awesome day.

She wasn't too sure about the Happy Birthday song.

We took another boat ride after dinner. 
We ventured into the murky channel and caught a rug on the prop.  A rug.

She was sitting by her grandmas and she says "I like you! And I like you! I like all my grandmas!"

Seriously the best girl ever. 

I'm SO lucky I get to be her mom.

I can't believe she's THREE.

 

Uncle Tom and Auntie Carla got her this little bikini. 

Nick is horrified.  I kind of like it.  It's hilarious to say the least.

summer in grand haven

Last Saturday we took a little last minute trip out to Grand Haven. Luckily there were a few people that wanted to come with us.  And buy us dinner. Thanks G&G Goote!

Her first Pronto Pup.  These things are legendary.

How is she almost THREE???
